Lifecycles exists to build young men and women of character through Christ-centered adventure and mentorship — guiding them into adulthood through shared challenge and experience.
When we were commissioned to create their 10-year anniversary film, it needed to rightly hold multiple storylines at once — the powerful origin story, the unique culture that defines who they are, and the unstoppable God behind it all.
We approached the film through a documentary lens — bringing together eight distinct voices, while working closely with five key leaders to shape a unified narrative.
A production schedule was created to capture new footage over multiple events. We also gathered a treasure trove of archival footage — over two terabytes of multi-year material from multiple sources.
This process required careful selection, structure, and a story-first mentality to ensure cohesion… and there was nothing more satisfying than seeing it all come together.
The final film reflects the heart of Lifecycles — rooted in challenge, growth, and the belief that these stories are worth carrying forward.
